Firstly, as usual...
A funny cartoon of the day.. hahahaha..
:D
Yeah all wives are ALWAYS right... Try getting a boyfriend to oppose his dear and there would most likely be a sweet natural quarrel within the couple. Try getting a husband to say "no!" to the old hag at home and you know he's in for a jolly "good" time.. As the saying goes,...
When in love, your darling is a cute little sheep, so vulnerable all the time, deserving protection..
After marriage, she took off her sheep's skin, revealing her wolf colours and the dangerous teeth, making you vulnerable and deserving protection all the time...
HAha enough..Now, back to the main track,
As we can see, canoeing nationals was just over two days ago, with Raffles clinching a double bronze this time round. Erm this may sounds a bit lousy, but it is definitely not! There are only 3 awards each year and you are either the national champions, second or third or nothing at all! For the past, National JC and Hwa Chong Institution have always been thrashing Raffles to the game, leaving us to be considered ants among tigers. But for this time, a significant number of us have made it to the finals as underdogs and achieved considerable performance in the different races.
The result? We only lost to Hwa Chong by a few points! Say, only 2? If we had pushed a little harder, or had had more luck, Hwa Chong would be third instead of us! Haha.. But since the nationals are over, and it's a fact that we're third on the national level now, it's time for us to work harder, even more harder, to beat Hwa Chong next year and emerge second! I bet Hwa Chong must have felt threatened by Raffles on friday too!
SO, Raffles Canoeists out there should train doubly hard and fight for better results in the next nationals! For me, i hope and aspire that i can represent the college to compete in the next NAtionals for a medal but this may mean a challenging and difficult route ahead. As a typical schoolboy with not yet Selwyn's muscles, Kaiyang's body, Peter's stamina, Guoren's speed and Kenneth's charm... I have to really put in all i've got to clinch the very limited spaces we have.. (Aiya should have stayed in Victoria, where everyone gets to compete! (but no one wins la..=P sorry Victorians..:)))
SO, from now on, don't be surprised to see JAmes training real hard and hard and hard to improve himself. Don't be stunned to see James looking tired (or haggard?) all the time and don't be astonished to see James sleeping in school.. Haha..
All the way!

France or Italy?$BlogItemTitle$>
Cartoon provided by: http://www.thefunnypage.com/funny/tastes-funny.html
As the minutes ticked off, James became more anxious... I have not done my Chemistry SPA Skill C assignment yet and it was due last friday!!! Oops, side-tracked.. Yup it's the World Cup Finals coming up and Italy versus France... Who will win?!
Let me make a guess..(or a bet?) Italy will be the champion this time round.. Looking at both teams' performances, France seemed to be tired out against Portugal in the semi-finals (scoring one goal in the 32nd minute when Zidane’s shot was just slightly out of reach and went past the keepers right to make it 1-0.) whereas Italy had turned out strong against the powerful Germany and is the team favoured more most brokers around.. However, both teams have their advantages and disadvantages.
France had depended a lot on brilliant captain Zinedine Zidane to push the team forward, and also had one of the best strikers in the world, Thierry Henry. However, their goalkeeper was slightly disadvantaged in height compared to others (with a height of only 1.83m), and not to forget their lousy drew-matches with Switzerland and South Korea, which were rapidly wiped out.
On the other hand, Italy, being famous for its steel-strong defences, would prove to be a challenging target. One big determinant of the results would most probably the battle of Zidane and Henry versus the Italian defence.
Hmm i'll make a prediction of score 2-0. Let's see if it's accurate and start counting down to the finals now.

"S" equals "Surprised?"...$BlogItemTitle$>
Firstly, to implement a new policy to improve the publicity of this blog,
YOUR CARTOON OF THE DAY!Cartoon provided by:
http://www.tessatoons.com/truly-funny-cartoons.htmHaha can't imagine happy-go-lucky James here can still put on a smiling face all day long and "crap" around the usual way... But that's him!Despite the uncovering of his remnants of "JC1 Common Tests 2006" and being inflicted with all "S-grade" damages so far, James is still in for fun and fun and fun... Well, indeed it was astonishing and shocking and bewildering and taunting...etc that his usually-superb Physics and Chemistry would get S-grades.. However, "S" in this case does not stand for "superb"!Haha it was demoralising, it was discouraging, it was undesirable, it was unexpected...etc, however it has happened! Argh that's so sad, depressing, heart-throbbing etc, (oh man i'm seriously stressed now..haha..=p)... For me, "S" will just mean "surprising" for now..Let's think positive, optimistic, hopefully etc... I'll do better next time. And there shall be no more "S"urprises again! humpff common tests...Do feedback.=)
